Oxford Town Hall Wedding

A and L’s June wedding at The Oxford Town Hall was a delightful blend of tradition, history, and fun-filled moments. As their photographer, I had the pleasure of capturing every detail of their special day, from the classic elegance of the ceremony to the relaxed festivities that followed.

The day began with A arriving in style, accompanied by her bridal party, in a classic black cab. The iconic taxi added a touch of sophistication to the occasion as they made their way to The Oxford Town Hall for the ceremony.

Following the heartfelt exchange of vows, we embarked on a scenic stroll around Oxford’s historic buildings to capture couples portraits and group shots. The city’s timeless architecture provided a stunning backdrop, perfectly complementing A and L’s love for each other.

Shortly after, it was time for a quintessentially British interlude – a visit to the local pub. Joined by their wedding party, A and L enjoyed a refreshing pint, soaking in the joyous atmosphere and sharing laughter with their loved ones.

But the festivities were far from over. To add a unique twist to their celebration, A and L decided to transport their guests to the reception venue in style – by boat. The party climbed aboard a River Cruiser at Salter’s Steamers Ltd. A leisurely cruise down the river led us to the idyllic Isis Farmhouse, where a relaxed and game-filled reception awaited.

Surrounded by lush greenery and the tranquil waters of the river, the newlyweds and their guests enjoyed an evening of merriment and camaraderie. From lawn games to heartfelt toasts, every moment was filled with love and happiness.

As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting a golden glow over the festivities, it was clear that A and L’s wedding day was nothing short of magical. It was an honor to document their love story unfolding against the backdrop of Oxford’s rich history and picturesque charm.
