Maternity photography is so special, it captures what is a fleeting moment (although when you’re pregnant it feels far from fleeting I know!) and it’s so important that you make it a priorty to capture this special time to look back on. Because trust me, no matter how uncomfortable you are right now you will miss your bump. Says a woman who spent her entire first pregnancy adamant I wouldn’t…
This maternity photoshoot was such a beautiful one, out in nature at sunset in Oxford’s beautiful Port Meadow. The beautiful Natalie has a connection to water so it was important to her to incorporate water into her maternity photography session, so we decided this spot would be perfect. We both eneded up stripping off and spent over an hour splashing about together in the water. A perfect way to spend a summers evening during a heatwave!
I know for many people their pets are like their first children and it’s important to remember the special place they held in the family before baby arrives. Where possible, I love to involve pets into maternity photography sessions. In this case, Nat’s gorgeous Golden Retriever Juno came with us to splash about and have lots of cuddles at sunset with bump.
