Photographer, Corin Jones has launched a huge photographic project aiming to support women's well being and empowerment through the concept of bathing in nature. Born out of Corin's discovery of how wild swimming in nature helped her own mental health, in the summer of 2020 she set out on a mission to make this accessible to all women.

What is Bathing in Nature?

The Project

"After losing all of my photographic work when Covid-19 hit in March 2020; I found myself in a creative rut and felt deflated, exhausted and anxious. With no work and the added stress of having to postpone my own wedding I felt helpless. The easing of the lockdown in July coincided with our family holiday to Dorset, where I did a self portrait session in the sea at sunrise. For me this was healing, I instantly felt at peace and as though all of the stresses I’d dealt with previously faded. I left feeling full of excitement and passion for the future which is something I’d not felt for months. It was such a healing experience I knew I needed to share it with as many women as possible"
